At D.D. Williamson we implemented Salesforce.com about 3 years ago. The integrator/partner that we worked with was Infowelders. Infowelders was a Louisville based partner that had many years’ experience implementing and consulting on Salesforce. Our experience working with Infowelders was great. They had many talented people that worked hard getting projects completed.
Unfortunately, for us Infowelders was acquired by Appirio about a year ago. We had a time and materials contract with Infowelders but it was something that Appirio didn’t offer so I was left searching for a way to fill the talent and experience void.
Luckily the Salesforce administrator/development community is very strong on social media so I simply asked for recommendation of developers that people have worked with in the past. I heard back from a couple of people and they recommended Clint Lee (@ClintSLee) from The Fly Wheel Group. I’ve worked with Clint on a couple projects and one of the other administrators at DDW is working on redesigning our Sales Budget Database with Clint working on the development and implementation. I know all the projects work well and Clint is quick to fix any bug or design flaws that pop up in test.
At Dreamforce ’11 I got the opportunity to meet and spend time with Garry Polmateer (@DarthGarry) and Tom Patros (@TomPatros) from Red Argyle. I’ve worked on 1 project with Garry on a Partner Portal implementation. I learned a lot from Garry and the solution works like we expected.
I write this unsolicited recommendation for all the small and medium sized companies that need good people to augment in house talent. If you’re looking for smart and talented people consider both Clint and Garry for your project.
I’m more than happy to talk with anyone about the solutions Clint and Garry provided and my experiences working with both.
